Hey guys, it's me, Passion8Girl (aka Sarah).I, like most people, regularly get asked what I do for a living. When I tell them I'm a hair stylist at SalonTrue (Sherman Oaks, CA) they smile and we sometimes talk about hair. However, when I add that I host Passion Parties for groups of women, I'm often met with a nervous smile or laughter, or they change the subject. I understand. One's sex life is often a touchy subject (no pun intended) and people can be uncomfortable with things relating to sex for a variety of reasons (which I wont go into in this blog). Then throw in the fact that I teach women about sex and allow them a comfortable forum to discuss their bedroom joys and desires and you have the makings of a taboo situation. Bring on the nervous laughs and the smirks, because I can take them. I also know they're only temporary! This is when I usually take the opportunity to clear up the misconceptions they may have about what I do.
When I throw a Passion Party, it's much less of a big production than it sounds. Usually I'll be invited to someone's house (the host of the party) and that's where all of the women or couples will show up. The host usually creates an atmosphere that they think will make their guests most comfortable. Sometimes that's wine, candles, and soft music. Other times it's strong booze, sexy visuals, and they top things off with a stripper (I throw many bachelorette parties like this). It's really up to the comfort level and wishes of the host. It's always tastefully catered to the guests and as I like to say, the parties can be anywhere from mild to wild. Also, I generally advise avoiding an overly sexualized atmosphere unless you're sure your guests can feel comfortable.
As most of you know the Passion Parties line of products includes sex toys, but it also includes really high quality, great smelling bed and bath products too. I tend to like to show off everything (even the ultra deluxe vibrators and such). We play games, maybe have some drinks, and I teach some really important things for all women to know about sex, their bodies, and pleasing themselves and their partner(s). Ultimately everyone has fun and I go home knowing I've helped spice things up for some women and sent them home with whatever products they choose to buy. To top it off, I give away lots of free stuff to the host (or bachelorette, or whomever the host chooses) for inviting me or a consultant on my team to come present for Passion Parties.
Once people understand what I do as a Passion Parties consultant they usually end up gushing to me about their sex lives and check my availability to host a party. I love to see this turnaround in people.
I hope this particular blog entry has given a better understanding of what I do, or at least made those of you who are shy about your body and desires give second thought to allowing yourself to be shameless in what's natural and beautiful in this world (not that the ultra deluxe super dildo extremes are exactly "natural" but still).
What should I write on my Sex Toy Party invitations? I'm throwing a Sex Toy party at my apartment and I'm not quite sure how I should word the invitations! It's set up kind of like a Tupperware party, where the lady does a presentation of all the products and ...<< MORE >>
What are some good party games for an all girl adult toy party to lighten the mood? I just started a passion parties business and I'm looking for some fun games to help lighten the mood to get the girls loosened up for the party. Any (not too vulgar) games you can think of that might work? I do alot of parties for couples, bachelorettes, and just inquisitive ladies, and ...<< MORE >>
I bought my husband a flesh light / fleshlight and he thought it was kinda neat, but since then he's found something way better. The "Mimi" (at http://passion8girls.com -> online shopping -> just for him) is a soft, sensual, stretchy sleeve with "pleasure chambers", whereas the Fleshlight is a heavy, clunky sort of device. That doesn't even take into consideration that the Mimi was 50% less than the flesh light. Anyway, just something to consider. It's my husband's opinion, not my own, but he knows about this sort of thing. lol
My husband tried the standard techniques: keggel exercises, meditation, masturbating right before, but he just found them boring to do and ineffective (maybe because he got bored and gave up before seeing results). This Worked for my ...<< MORE >>

I am having a pure romance (sex toy) party this weekend and need some decoration ideas. This is a classy one...not trashy. All women too! So far I was thinking pink chiffon fabric, pink candles, cushions on floor, and feathers in vases...anything else?

Well, please don't take offense, but I think you're confusing making it a classy party with making it a potentially overly-sexual atmosphere. The fact that it's an adult toy party kind of needs to be offset by something other than romantic, sensual lighting and decorations in order to keep your guests comfortable and feeling like they can keep things tame if they choose. You can still have a classy party, but think champagne, appetizers, and party games rather than candles and feathers.
Can you please give me ideas for my friends bachelorette party?
First time I am setting up a bachelorette party. I am the chief bridesmaid so it is my duty that this event goes well. I have only been to 1 in my life. Please give me ideas and what to do and where to have it and your past experiences. Thank you.

I had a really fun bachelorette party. If I could do it over again I'd still plan on going out to a fun bar/dance-club and/or strip club and make sure transportation is arranged ahead of time (limo, party bus, designated drivers, etc). Everyone had a memorable time (thought we'd like to forget some moment ). The only thing I would change would be to have a toy party like my friend had BEFORE going out. I didn't want people to show up late so I had everyone come over early and we really didn't plan on doing anything before we went out. Check out passion parties (we used Sarah from http://www.passion8girl.com). I think it's still free to have a female consultant come out and do a tasteful toy demo / drinks / silliness, etc to spend the time before going out actually having something fun and interesting to do.
